Walker Engineering Pty Ltd, a leading provider of residential structural engineering with over 25 years of experience, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Draftsperson to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to our projects, which include service for residential engineering, as well as relocations and renovations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software to support various projects.
• Collaborate with engineers, operations managers, and tradesmen to develop designs that meet client specifications and industry standards.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback and project requirements.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of drawings and related documentation.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Structural Draftsperson, preferably in the residential structural sectors.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and construction processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
