The role

Based in the Mermaid Beach office, this hands-on role is integral to the success of the Ainslie operations.As Inventory Controller, you’ll take ownership of stock movements including order fulfilment, stock control, and risk Management, ensuring Ainslie maintains its reputation for excellence and security.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and reconcile all stock movements, including receipting, dispatch, and storage
  • Validate incoming goods and ensure inventory accuracy across multiple sites
  • Balance daily stock levels and maintain detailed reporting
  • Drive process improvements for efficiency, accuracy, and customer experience
  • Build trusted relationships with regular clients & suppliers
  • Identify and escalate compliance and security risks
  • Support Workplace Health & Safety standards and contribute to a strong team culture 

 

About You

You’re organised, analytical, and thrive in a structured, high-integrity environment. You take pride in your attention to detail and can manage complex inventory with confidence and accuracy.

What you’ll bring: 

  • Proven experience in inventory or stock control
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with proficiency in the use of Excel
  • High attention to detail and a methodical, risk-aware mindset
  • Confidence working in a secure, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Physical capability to handle goods safely (within WHS limits)
  • Genuine customer focused approach
  • A Clear Police Check will be Required

Preferred but not essential:

  • Experience in Netsuite or similar systems
  • Understanding of precious metals, crypto, or eCommerce environments
