Your Next Role:

Working with the Operations Manager your key focus is day-to-day people management including safety, production, compliance and engaging a committed work force. You will be instrumental in driving positive change and fostering a safety-first culture ensuring optimal, sustainable output is achieved.

You will work from our Mill in Pampoolah NSW, minutes away from pristine beaches at Old Bar and the waterways of the Manning River.

A typical day will include:

• Managing safety across the team and mill,
• Managing daily coordination meetings, including toolbox and safety meetings,
• Planning, co-ordination and supervision of daily production and resource management,
• Ensuring finished product quality and presentation meets grading rules and customer requirements,
• Assisting with inbound and outbound logistics and customer deliveries,
• Assisting maintenance to ensure safe operation of plant and equipment,
• Leading continuous improvement efforts that result in sustained improvement in performance,
• Being a positive role model for the team.

Requirements:

• Have experience in leadership roles or show potential in leading teams,
• Demonstrate high emotional intelligence and excellent communication skills,
• Exhibit a passion for helping others grow and succeed,
• Are proactive, problem-solver, and adaptable in dynamic environments,
• Can make tough decisions under pressure and lead by example,
• Drivers licence (Must have),
• Forklift licence (Ideal, not essential),
• First Aid (Ideal, not essential).
