The role

The Compliance & Risk Officer will work closely with the Compliance & Risk Manager along with department heads.

This hands-on role will identify, monitor and test controls to detect and mitigate risk for the Ainslie Group. Anti-Money Laundering/Counter Terrorism Financing, Fraud, and Data Integrity are a particular focus.

The successful candidate will likely be experienced within the finance, insurance or government sectors having held roles with responsibility for risk, compliance or audit and be keen to learn the specific compliance & risk requirements that Ainslie Group must adhere to.

Someone with understanding of AML/CTF obligations according to both the AML/CTF Act and AML/CTF Rules will be HIGHLY REGARDED.

To be successful in this role, you will have: 

• Formal Qualification in risk management/business will be HIGHLY REGARDED.
• Minimum 2-5 years’ demonstrated experience in the  risk, compliance or audit.
• Experience within a financial services or government environment will be HIGHLY BENEFICIAL.
• Proven track record in risk control testing.
• Experience in internal and external risk and compliance reporting.
• Willingness and ability to quickly gain an understanding of AML/CTF obligations. Experience with experience the local regulatory framework applying to bullion and crypto sectors will be a BONUS.
• Exceptional attention to detail, responsiveness and initiative.
• Outstanding interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Ideally you will have an interest in Bullion and/or Crypto.
