About the Role: 
We’re looking for a motivated, capable and loyal Administration Assistant/ Receptionist with EXCEPTIONAL time management, communication, and organisational skills.  The role provides all-round general administration and support to the accountants including -answering calls, following up clients, liaising with government agencies, CRM and record management, processing annual reviews, Tax lodgments, ATO payment plans, ASIC annual reviews and compliance, and other general business support. 

 

Your previous experience within a professional accounting firm will be ESSENTIAL - along with your ability to learn tasks quickly, provide high level customer service, attention to detail and a proactive approach. 
We’re looking for someone who enjoys variety, taking on responsibility and is looking for long-term stability. A challenging and versatile role is offered for the right candidate. 

 

Your skills and experience: 
•    Previous experience within a Professional Accounting Firm (with a stable track record) is preferred. 
•    Strong customer service skills, ethical standards and sense of loyalty. 
•    Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy. 
•    Be self-motivated and have the ability to use common sense and initiative. 
•    Ability to provide support to a team of professionals and to prioritise effectively. 
•    Understanding of the importance of deadlines and ability to meet them accordingly. 
•    Strong Microsoft Office skills - Word, Excel, Powerpoint & Outlook. 
•    Experience with CAS360 software, FYI Document manager and Xero Practice Manager will be HIGHLY REGARDED. 
•    Experience dealing online with ASIC, ATO, ACIS, and ABR will be advantageous. 
•    Exposure to the establishment of Company and Trust details will also be highly regarded. 
•    High level personal presentation. 
•    Excellent team and big picture focus.
