The Role:

We are currently seeking a stand-out Level 2 Service Desk Technician

You will provide essential ICT support across our entire diverse range of client businesses, including onsite representation at client sites in and around Brisbane. Much of the role will be deliverable working from home, however the ability to attend client sites in the Brisbane area is essential.

With Head Office based in Coffs Harbour, you will be required to undertake initial induction and training there for 1 week – All expenses will be covered.

 

From time to time, you will also have an expenses paid trip to Coffs Harbour for training and social events.

 

Your key responsibilities will be: 

  • Respond to incoming requests with a high level of customer service, efficiently and promptly.
  • Seeing service desk requests through to completion, drawing on your experience to problem solve issues to our clients' satisfaction.
  • Assisting senior engineers to identify root cause and resolution of more complex issues.
  • Assisting senior engineers with project implementation at client sites in the Brisbane area.
  • Completing hardware requests and problem solving at client sites in the Brisbane area.
  • Continually growing your capabilities through the completion of certifications and learning on the job.
  • Working effectively as part of a team including Level 1, 2 and 3 technicians including mentoring Level 1 team members to develop technical capability.

 

What you will bring:

  • Experience with a Managed Services Provider company where you demonstrated a strong focus on providing superior customer service is ESSENTIAL.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with our clients as a representative of our brand.
  • The ability to translate technical issues into simple, comprehensive information for clients with a wide range of technical understanding.
  • A strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation when working autonomously.
  • Experience working hands-on with IT systems including Endpoints, Servers, Networking, Cyber Security and Telecommunications.
  • Support experience with Microsoft Windows desktop & server operating systems, Microsoft 365, Azure and other cloud-based technologies.
  • A strong desire to develop technical knowledge & skills within a range of constantly changing technologies.
  • Network Certification (CompTIA Network+ and/or CCNA) will be viewed favourably.
  • Microsoft Associate Certification x2 (365 and Azure) will also be viewed favourably.
