About the Business:

You will be joining a firm lead by 3 partners with diverse backgrounds and experience who are all committed and dedicated to their clients’ ongoing success along with an exceptional team of Accountants and support staff. About the Role:
You will work directly with a varied portfolio of clients – Company, Trust and Individuals (who form part of business family group)- where you will be encouraged to think outside the square to provide the best possible financial analysis, business advisory, tax consultancy, tax compliance and financials.
You will be supported by a team of junior accounting staff who you will delegate to, oversee and mentor to ensure work is completed efficiently, accurately and to meet budget.
We’re looking for a DRIVEN Accounting Professional wanting the best possible outcome for clients.
Your skills and experience:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical and financial analysis information in clear, client-focused language.
- Strong leadership, with a results-driven mindset and a natural ability to build client relationships and manage expectations.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Senior Accountant in Australian public practice, specialising in tax and business advisory.
- Proven experience in mentoring and managing teams, including performance and budget accountability.
- Experience working with offshore teams(preferred) and mid-sized client groups.
- Skilled in preparing and reviewing tax returns, financial statements, FBT returns, Div 7A, SMSF planning, tax planning, and related reporting.
- Commercially minded, analytical, with a focus on identifying value-adding opportunities for clients and the firm.
- Proficient in scoping, pricing, and delivering client work profitability.
- High-level technical expertise with a strong ability to independently finalise client engagements.
- CPA or CA qualified (mandatory).
- Proficient with Xero Practice Manager, Xero Accounting, Microsoft Office, MYOB, QuickBooks, FYI Docs, or similar platforms.
