About the Business:

The Melbourne Vault (https://melbournevault.com.au/) is an independently owned high security vault facility that offers a range of secure storage options for private and business customers. In premises first established by Bank of NSW, The Melbourne Vault boasts a subterranean, highly secure construction and possesses state-of-the-art security systems, fully licensed security personnel and robust security procedures.

 

The Melbourne Vault offers secure storage for precious metals, diamonds & gems, jewellery, bonds or anything that is precious to our clients.

 

Operating hours are 9:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday and 8:00am-Midday Saturday.

 

About the Role:

This position plays a crucial role in ensuring we provide exceptional customer service while maintaining stringent security protocols. As a vital point of contact, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their inquiries, providing personalised support, and addressing their needs with professionalism and discretion. Simultaneously, you will uphold the facility’s robust security measures, including access control, surveillance monitoring, and emergency response procedures.

 

This multifaceted position requires a customer-centric mindset, impeccable attention to detail and a steadfast commitment to maintaining the utmost security and confidentiality for our esteemed customers.

 

Your Skills and Experience:

Demonstrated experience within Customer Service with a stable employment history.

Strong interpersonal skills and customer focus.

Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and ability to follow set procedures and protocols.

Be self-motivated and have the ability to use common sense and initiative.

Sound computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook).

Demonstrated ability to learn new tasks and processes quickly.

Must have a clean Police Record.

Additional hours are available to work the Saturday 8am-12pm shift.

The option to undertake an 8 day course to obtain a Security Provider Licence (Class 1) will be provided – This will be organised by The Melbourne Vault with costs covered and you will be paid your wage for the 8 days.
