About the Role

This role will be working as a part of the team to support Doctors and medical professionals. As an IT Support Officer you will be responsible for:

  • providing technical support;
  • creating and maintaining documentation for client systems and environments;
  • assisting the team in resolving incidents and completing tasks;
  • following-up and updating customer status and information and always keeping them informed.

You MUST be self-motivated, have good time management skills and a positive DOWN TO EARTH attitude to fit in with the existing team. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills – are critical as you will have constant direct contact with Doctors and medical professionals.

Show us what you’ve got…..and you will quickly be given hands-on exposure and training in everything from remote support, to onsite and project work - covering servers, desktops, networks, you name it !!

 

Skills & Qualities

  • Outstanding customer service skills, with excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Don’t apply if you’re not confident and capable in this area!!
  • The ability to think logically and solve problems accurately in a fast paced environment.
  • The ability to work in a team environment as well as work autonomously when required.
  • Ideally you will have completed (or currently undertaking) relevant formal studies in Information Technology.
  • A sound working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office.
  • Experience with file & print sharing, general network management and remote management tools.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts such as firewalls and routing.
  • Exceptional level of honesty and hardworking approach.
  • Commitment to learning, taking direction and continuous improvement.
  • MUST HAVE full working rights via appropriate current VISA to work full-time within Australia - and available to commence work in Brisbane within 2-4 weeks of being offered the role.
