As Financial Controller you will be responsible for guiding the organisation’s financial health, including the smooth functioning of payroll, accounts and bookkeeping. You will be part of a business support team, assisting the management team to smoothly recruit new staff, optimise the effective use of digital account systems, PSA system, payroll and payment systems, and ensure the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist the service delivery and business support teams to have a clear and accurate representation of the business financials
• Draw together administrative processes into clear and cohesive execution
• Constantly look for ways to reduce process friction, improve efficiencies and reduce costs across the business
• Contribute advanced skills in accounting, payroll and business analytics to assist the team to grow profitability
• Take a key role in financial accountability and results, including establishing regular reporting cycles
• Use well-developed leadership skills to coach, mentor and keep managers accountable for sustainable profitability
• Assist with recruiting, ensuring timely and accurate onboarding of new staff and contractors
• Monitor and report on the viability of all service delivery and procurement operations to ensure the effective and efficient utilisation of technical services, human resources, space and equipment
• Develop financial strategy, including risk, analysis, forecasting & modelling
• Manage Cash Flow
• Work with the external accountant to prepare BAS, PAYG, Superannuation, annual accounts and other statutory obligations
• Ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations
• Process the monthly payroll

• Previous administrative experience within a B2B services industry, we have long term clients with detailed procurement and agreement management requirements.
• Advanced Experience with Xero
• Experience with Connectwise PSA (or similar) - desirable
